Welcome to St Stephen's (C of E) Burnley.

St Stephen's Church is the Parish Church of Burnley Wood and Towneley.

It is situated in a beautiful part of Lancashire and has a vibrant history dating back to 1879.

St Stephen's has its own Aided Primary School, which is built on the edge of Towneley Park and Golf Course and looks out across the Hills of the South Peninnes.

The Church itself is Central in tradition and open to renewal having a variety of services throughout the week ranging from traditional to informal. There are many organisations for all age groups and enquiries are welcome. We are a growing Church and are keen to welcome you to our web site and would love to welcome you to any of our services.
