My name is Betty Galloway and I am the leader of the Sunday school. I am lucky to have 3 good teachers to help me every week. There are about 30 children aged 3-10 who split into 3 groups. The whole of Sunday school starts off at 10.30am by going into Church, where the Vicar tells them a story (which is usually amusing and relevant to the Gospel for the day). The rest of the congregation look forward to this part as much as the children. We are then packed off to the Parish rooms, which are at the back of the Church. We have prayers and tell each other interesting stories that have happened to us during the week. By 10.50 we split into our classes 3-5, 6-8, 9-11. The children have juice and biscuits, we then go back into Church for Communion or a blessing.
We have a family service
on the third Sunday in the month where the children lead the prayers.
At Christmas we perform a Nativity play, which the children love, we follow
the Church of England Calendar and cycle of teaching. We raise money throughout
the year to finance all our projects.
We have a Parish Queen who is chosen on the first Sunday in February,
which is Dedication Sunday, our Churches birthday. We have a walking day
in June and at the end we go back into Church to have a sing a long with
some lively hymns, musical accompaniment by the Vicar and friends. Prize
giving is the week after, where prizes are awarded to children who regularly
attend Sunday school.

We meet on Sunday nights in the Parish Rooms, ages range from 10 to 16. The first year is the Junior Confirmation Class. We have Youth Leaders and a variety of equipment and games.
Mother's
union. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm in the Parish Rooms. We are always looking for new members.
